GIVING DAY FAQS

What is Giving Day?

Regis College Giving Day 2023 is a one-day online fundraising drive for alumni, parents, students, faculty and staff, and friends from all over the world to come together to give back and show their #RegisPride!

Why is Giving Day different than any other day?

Giving Day is a special opportunity to choose an area to designate your gift. There are also fun challenges throughout the day to maximize participation and support. The giving options for Giving Day are:

  • Scholarships (Undergraduate and Graduate)
  • Service Trips
  • Career Development
  • Athletics
  • Dear Neighbor Fund
  • Where It’s Needed Most (unrestricted).

How can my gift be counted toward Giving Day?

All gifts made on February 14 (midnight to midnight EST) count toward Giving Day 2023.

Can anyone participate in Giving Day?

Absolutely! Alumni, parents, family, friends, fans, students, and staff and faculty can all show their support for Regis!

Can I make a gift of any amount? I feel like my small gift won’t make a difference.

Please don’t think that! ALL gifts of ANY size make a difference. Even a $5 or $10 gift or whatever you feel you can give goes towards supporting the Regis community. Donor participation rates are really important, so whether you give $10 or $500, your gift will go a long way in our collective fundraising efforts—it’s all about coming together as a community.

Where does my gift go?

You choose where your gift will go. Read more about the six Giving Day designations on our website.

Will 100% of my gift go where I designate it?

Yes!

How can I help spread the word?

Your voice makes Giving Day a success. Post about Regis Giving Day and your own participation on all of your social networks using #RegisGivingDay or by sharing the @RegisCollegeAlumni posts on Facebook and Instagram.

Will my gift be tax-deductible?

Yes. A tax receipt will be emailed to you after your gift transaction is complete.
