Tell me about your career and your current job. What does a "day in the life of you" look like?

I work in both professional and amateur sports with the Boston Pride and the Valley Rinks. For the Boston Pride, a professional women's ice hockey team, I manage their Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. This includes posting throughout the week and during games, engaging with fans online, staying up to date on the latest trends, and creating graphics. Valley Rinks is an organization that runs a variety of youth leagues and club teams. I manage and operate a total of 10 different social media accounts across Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. I also do all the game photography for Valley Rinks and on the side, I am a freelance sports photographer. I am always looking for creative ways to increase engagement with our followers, as well as finding ways to best market these leagues and youth teams to increase involvement.

Share a memorable experience during your time at Regis. (Internship, study abroad, service trip, clinicals, etc) How did that experience affect you, professionally and personally.

The most memorable experience I have from my time at Regis was winning the track and field GNAC championship my senior year. My teammates and I worked very hard all year long for this day. It came down to the wire, but we were able to pull it off. The years' worth of dedication and hard work paying off instilled in me the importance of those qualities in life and the workplace. I bring that same work ethic to my professional life. The lessons I learned from my time at Regis will always be present in my everyday life.

What advice do you have for current students?

I would say these are memories that will last a lifetime and to make every moment count. It goes by quick...too quick.
