What is your greatest professional accomplishment?
I am very grateful and fortunate for my job at Dana Farber. I have the ability to come to work every day and not only help my patients by performing their exams, but I also get to put a smile on their faces and be a cheerleader for them as they courageously take on their battles with cancer.

What are some life lessons you learned at Regis that have served you well throughout your career?
My time at Regis taught me that if you set your mind to something, you can accomplish it no matter what it is. It might take time, but hard work and dedication pay off.

How did Regis help prepare you for life after graduation?
Thanks to Regis, I felt fully prepared to sit for my board exams and confident to enter the field as a diagnostic medical sonographer. My classroom education and scanning labs worked in conjunction to prepare me perfectly for my clinical rotations. My professors’ great depth of knowledge complemented my clinical education in a manner that allowed me to excel.

Share a memorable experience during your time at Regis.
I went on the service trip to Appalachia with health services while I was at Regis. This service trip taught me that we never know what battle someone is going through internally, which is why we need to be kind and compassionate to others.

Do you have any advice for current students or recent graduates?
It can be stressful being a student or new grad, but just breathe and enjoy every second of it. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, everything will fall into place the way it is supposed to.
