Tell me about your career and your current job.
I currently work at a well-renowned hospital performing a variety of vascular ultrasounds alongside vascular surgeons.

What is your greatest professional accomplishment?
So far, my greatest accomplishment was taking the initiative to specialize in vascular ultrasound. Being able to work closely with vascular surgeons has been an incredible experience.

What are some life lessons you learned at Regis that have served you well throughout your career?
Regis taught me to face any challenge head-on in order to make myself a better person and to further my career. Even when things may seem tough in the moment, it’ll all get better, and the journey is worth it.

Share a memorable experience during your time at Regis.
My clinical experience is something I’ll always cherish. As a first-generation college student, I had to learn from the ground up. I was put in new environments where I had to learn from square one, but I never turned away from these challenges. Because of this, I gained much more experience and knowledge along the way. I’ve become more confident in my career and can help guide new students with their journey.

If you were a student scholar recipient, what would you say to your donor today if you could?
I’m very humbled and forever grateful for Regis donors believing in me. As a first-generation student from a small town, getting this opportunity meant more than they'll ever know.

Do you have any advice for current students or recent graduates?
You will face challenges along the way. However, if you keep believing in yourself and you never give up, you’ll surprise yourself with what you can do, and you’ll get to your ultimate goal. Take advantage of the opportunities Regis provides you. I’m so thankful for my professors and Regis staff for giving me the tools needed to be where I am now.
