Thanks to all alumni who returned home to Regis for Reunion Weekend 2019!
Regis College was thrilled to welcome back over 450 alumni, family, and friends to Reunion 2019 from May 17 to 19, 2019. This year, graduating classes ending in 4 and 9 made their way back to campus for reunion festivities. The weekend was filled with community, conversation, and celebration. Visit Regis College Alumni on Facebook to see all the photos and watch the recap video for a snapshot of the weekend.
Regis hosted several new and exciting events including the All-Alumni BBQ, Paint and Sip, and Conversation and Coffee with the beloved Dr. Ernie Collamati, Professor of Religious Studies. Following the State of the School presentation with President Hays was the cherished tradition of the Parade of Classes, where alumni celebrating their 15th to 70th Reunions marched with Regis pride and class spirit from the Student Center into the Quad. The parade concluded with the 72 members of the 50th Reunion Class of 1969 being announced amidst lasting cheers from their fellow alumni.
50th Reunion class president Mary Beth Stanton Cotter ’69 describes the Reunion as “fabulous,” noting that a number of her classmates returned to Regis for the first time in 50 years. “For three days, it seemed as if the intervening years just disappeared, and we were all laughing, sharing stories, and immensely enjoying each other's company,” says Mary Beth. “And everyone was impressed with President Hays and how she transformed Regis!”
Classmate Kathleen O’Hare ’69 agrees. “Reconnecting with so many classmates was truly special,” says Kathleen, chair of the Philanthropy and Outreach Committee for the 50th Reunion class. “I loved having our 50th Reunion book to read and learn more about the lives we have all lived since graduation. Lots of hard work by lots of people paid off!”
The new Paint and Sip event (photo below) sold out before the weekend started, with nearly 50 alumnae gathering outside to paint their own version of the Regis Tower. “Who could resist an afternoon of sipping wine ‘high on the hilltop’ with the best of friends while creating our own impressionist paintings of the Tower?” says Kaitlynn Malinowski Arvidson ’04. “It was wonderful to share time together where all of our memories began and continue to flourish.”

If you celebrated your Reunion, or if it was your year and you decided not to come, we invite you to take a short survey to share your feedback.
We extend a special thank you to the dedicated Reunion volunteers and class committees for all of their efforts. Reunion would not be possible without their dedication and enthusiasm!
As of Reunion Weekend, the total raised from all reunion classes was $965,765.30. The generosity of Regis alumni and friends ensures the university’s continued growth. If you have yet to make your gift, there is still time. Make your gift by June 30, 2019, and it will automatically count toward your class Reunion gift. We are grateful for your commitment!
