ANNE HERRON HEALY SCHOLARSHIP
ESTABLISHED IN 2023
Anne’s love of New England led her from her home in Virginia to Regis College, where she majored in government and political science. Anne graduated from Regis in 1965, and proceeded to devote her life to making others’ lives better, volunteering for many organizations, including the Alumni Board at Regis.
The Anne Herron Healy Scholarship at Regis College was established in 2023 by Anne’s beloved husband, Dr. Gerald Healy, to honor her legacy as a dedicated and loyal alumna. Recipients of the Healy Scholarship will be Regis students with financial need, with preference given to first-generation female students.
The scholarship in Anne’s name is endowed, and consequently principal gifts to the fund will never be spent. Scholarships will be created from the earned income on the investment, and Anne’s legacy will live on in perpetuity, helping Regis students realize their dreams for generations to come.
HOW IT WORKS »
Gifts to the fund will be invested in the university’s endowment, and interest earned (approximately 5% annually*) will be awarded to a student(s) each year. As additional funds are added, the amount distributed will increase—creating an even greater immediate impact for students in need.
