Regis in Haiti
Since 2007, the goal of the Regis College Haiti Project (RCHP) has been to advance health care in Haiti by focusing on nurses and their education. This project successfully awarded 37 master’s degrees in nursing and leadership to select nurse faculty throughout the Caribbean nation. With over a decade of work in Haiti, Regis College and their collaborators have expanded their work beyond the original project but with the same focus as when they began: nurses. Now referred to as Regis In Haiti, Regis’ projects in Haiti are continuing to support the nurses in Haiti and patient care throughout the country.

As Regis In Haiti expands and moves into its next phase, significant funding is needed to support three primary goals:
- Creation of an alumni network in Haiti to offer continued support and mentorship to the nurses and engage alumni
- Development of and training for simulation labs at nursing schools where Regis alumni work to improve clinical training
- Continued emphasis on nursing research in Haiti to advance the profession and promote evidence-based care across the healthcare system
