The Catherine Burke Society (formerly known as the Founders Society, established in 1990) acknowledges and celebrates alumni and friends who demonstrate their deep commitment to Regis by including the university in their estate plans or as the beneficiary of a planned gift.

Because the school realizes these gifts after the life of the donor, Regis established the Catherine Burke Society in order to honor and thank prospective donors during their lifetimes. Types of planned gifts include:

  • Making a provision for Regis College in your will or revocable trust.
  • Establishing a charitable remainder trust or a charitable gift annuity to benefit Regis College.
  • Designating Regis College as the beneficiary of an IRA, Keogh, or other qualified retirement plan assets.
  • Naming Regis College as the owner and beneficiary of a life insurance policy.

CATHERINE BURKE SOCIETY SPOTLIGHT

A Gift for Generations"Regis is near and dear to me and has been in my will for many years—and providing documentation to officially join the Catherine Burke Society during this milestone year was simple. There is nothing more important, in my mind, than supporting higher education so that all the potential and talent that exists in young people today can be explored and encouraged and realized to its fullest extent."
